The Smoky Mountains number one attraction! Dollywood is nothing but good clean family fun for the young and old alike! This is a great place to spend a day or a whole week! Folks often return year after year to see old time favorite and also to see the changes in the park and shows! Dollywood and Splash Mountain often have new things added every year! Dollywood features and amusement park, water park, shows and first class entertainment!

To get to Dollywood from Wears Valley is very easy. Find Wears Valley Road route 321 and go east. About 6 to 10 miles down the mountain the road will come to a “T” intersection, this is the Parkway! Turn Right and go a few traffic lights, Dollywood will be on the left side, just follow the signs!

Ride an authentic steam engine through the foothills! This is a very enjoyable excursion. After walking and standing all day, a ride on the train can be just time you need to rest and relax and enjoy the 5 miles of nature and beautiful views!

See how the legends of southern gospel music paved the way for today’s artists! You don’t have to be a Christain to enjoy and appreciate this one!

Thunderhead Roller Coaster-
Huge wooden roller coaster between 2 mountains! Ok, this one I can not tell you about, I’m too old to try it! It is immpressive though! They say it has a 100′ drop and travels at 55 mph! So if your young at heart give her a whirl!

Wonder Wheel-
Towers High above the Skyline! The wonder wheel is another one I have not tried. It looks like the kids really enjoy it! If you give it a try, let me know what you think!

Tennessee Tornado-
Triple Spiral Looping Coaster! Some friends of ours have teenage boys who just love to ride this thing! Good Luck! You’ll See why it’s called the Tornado!

Smoky Mountain Home-
