Amazing & will be repeat customer annually!

I am late posting this review. We are thinking of staying again soon so I looked up the reservation in my email. We had the most incredible experience and vacation. We stay in two different cabins owned by the same people. Everything was clean and cozy. I loved being so close to Cade’s Cove. I was pregnant with our first and only child while we were there, and we could not agree on his name until this trip. It will always be a special trip for us to reflect on, and a special place for us to visit in the future. We ended up naming our son Caden while driving through Cade’s Cove while we were there. We plan on bringing Caden (now 2 1/2 years) to visit, and stay in one of the same cabins. We look forward to making it an annual visit, and a chance to tell our son the story of how we came up with his name. Everything about the trip was perfect, and stress free. We still tell people about the cabins we stayed in, and if they want something secluded and relaxing to stay in one of the cabin we stayed in during our visit. If you want seclusion, clean cabin, not too far of a drive from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, with an amazing view, and close to Cade’s Cove….this is the cabin for you!

Great Location and wonderful cabin

Really enjoyed the cabin, the size was perfect and the openness and light were very enjoyable. The mountain views from every window were spectacular. We loved the location and the ease of the entrances to the GSNP, the caverns, and the Railroad Museum. Townsend was a pleasant surprise, everything we needed but none of the clutter of Pigeon Forge. We certainly plan on coming back!

Fantastic view with all the comforts of home

This was our second year staying at Precious Memories. There were 6 adults and our grand daughter who was 7 months old. We throughly enjoyed the view and our grand daughter enjoyed being held outside and looking at the flowers and trees. The proximity of Precious Memories to the GSM park is great. Cade’s Cove is not far away. Gatlinburg is not that far away but we wanted the relaxation, fresh air and easy access to the GSM park. There is an IGA store in Townsend and a few restaurants;however, about 4 minutes away in Wearss Valley is Elvira’s Restaurant which has an excellent selection of very very good meals. We throughly enjoyed Precious Memories!!!

Precious Memories Cabin

This cabin was fantastic for our family. The location was perfect off of Wears Valley Road, it offered many household essentials, it was spacious, and the views were breathtaking! We also were impressed by the cleanliness of the cabin and the little details that were added to make our stay more accommodating. We will definitely return and book this cabin!

Sisters’ Retreat

Enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. The rose bushes were in bloom as well as the Mountain Laurel around the cabin. A female hummingbird actually came to the front door in the living room area and hovered as if welcoming us to the cabin. The cabin was well stocked and clean. I always gauge how clean a cabin is by inspecting the stove oven, and it was spotless. I have found that is one item that usually gets neglected in the cleaning process. So kudos to the cleaning staff. Also, Mark and Debbie, you all were very accommodating. Kudos to you, too.

Thanks for the Precious Memories with the family!

Thank you for sharing your “little piece of heaven on earth” called the Precious Memories cabin. The views were spectacular and the home had a fabulous layout to give everyone their space. We enjoyed the quiet side of the smokies while hiking, horseback riding (Davy Crockett rocks) and visiting the various sites. We even got to see a mother bear with her bear cubs driving over to Newfound Gap and Clingman’s Dome. The weather was fabulous all weekend and we feel so blessed to have all the happy memories from our week at your cabin. We look forward to our next stay.

Perfectly secluded, quiet cabin

We absolutely loved our stay at Precious Memories! 4 families of girls stayed for a week and enjoyed the peacefulness, quiet, and stunning views of the cabin. We felt perfectly at home. On our last day, we even got to see why the mountains are referred to as The Smokies. Ware’s Valley is the perfect place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge and super close to the National Park. We will definitely be returning to this gem!

amazing vacation

My family and I had an amazing vacation at your cabin. We had a very relaxing vacation taking in the views from the balcony, hot tub and pool room. The cabin was very spacious and although secluded, centralized to all towns and shops. The gated community offered extra security and precious memories encompassed all my visions of what the smoky mountains are about. Every hour exposed a different view of the mountains from every balcony the cabin had to offer. This is our fourth year to the smokies and it was agreed from the whole family that precious memories was the best cabin yet taking into consideration the seclusion, area, amenities, and most of all the undisturbed views of the mountains. We have found our cabin rental for life. Thanks clint legault.

Scenic View, Peaceful and Serene

Staying at Precious Memories was beyond our expectations. When we walked in and saw “And He shall be called” framed on the wall, we knew it was ordained by God. The history behind Precious Memories that was shared made it even more precious. As a result of our time spent in this delightful cabin, we now have “precious memories” of our own and plan on having more to come soon.

Precious Memories Cabin – Fantastic

The cabin was better than the pictures!!! We loved it. It was very clean, the property was well maintained and it was quiet due to being in a gated area. The view was fantastic anytime during the day. It was close to the hiking and site seeing activities that we wanted to do. The hot tub helped relieve the sore muscles from hiking. It is close to Townsend where there many activities as well as the Great Smokey Mountain visitor center and grocery stores. We throughly enjoyed fixing meals at the cabin and enjoying the view from the covered deck. If you wish to visit Gatlinburg, the drive is enjoyable and there are more hiking trails there. Our stay was very relaxing and we will definitely return to stay at Black Bear Hollow Cabins again!!!

Great Family Vacation

Our family of five and three of our friends enjoyed this beautiful place for a week, The view was amazing as well as the cabin itself. Plenty of room for all of us. We spent a lot of time in the cabin and just relaxed, no need to go out when you have everything you need right there. We enjoyed a campfire every night, the hot tub, and were visited twice by black bears. We will be coming back and decided to try and come every two years. We highly recommend Black Bear Hollow and Mark and Debbie were great to work with, very nice people.

Breath -taking!!!

Imagine every morning waking up to a breath taking sunrise in the secluded Smokey Mountains. The view, fresh air and wild life was amazing. Staying at Prescious Memories was the most beautiful vacation we have ever taken as a family. The house had every amenity you could think of – hot tub, pool table, tv’s, comfortable lawn furniture on the balconies, etc. the house came equipped with all the essentials. Our family loved it and even had a visit on the balcony by a mom black bear and her two cubs. The kids lived that! We had a peaceful vacation in the awesome precious moments house. We also went horse back riding, hiking, whitewater rafting, caves, golfing, and shopping. Plenty for the whole family to do. We will certainly be back because we LOVED the house, the scenery and seclusion. Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful house.

Exactly What We Were Looking For

My sister and I searched and searched for a place with not only a great view, but the hot tub had to have one too! Plus we wanted privacy, outdoor ‘living’ and a comfortable home inside. This place fit the bill in every way. The comfortable beds and pillows were a bonus. We look forward to bringing our husbands with us next time!

great stay in the smokey mountains

The Cabin was great the view was great, the weather on the other hand was not, Ice Storm knocked out power for 3 days, so we had to ruff it, had plenty of moonshine and food. We had a wonderful time with our two sons, their wives and our four grandchildren! We’ve never had a destination Christmas with all of them and we could not have picked a better location or cabin! We loved the secluded nature of this cabin. The view was spectacular and we loved waking up to that mountain view each morning. Perfect Family Getaway

Precious Memories is exactly what you imagine when you think of a secluded, luxurious, log cabin in the Smokies. 4 adults and two teens had a perfect 3 day weekend. Cabin is in Gated property with large lots and no other homes in the community visible. It is meticulously maintained, everything in great condition. Balconies offer amazing views. Birds and wildlife can viewed from the porch. Location is central to everything we wanted to do: hike in the Smokies, drive cades cove, Rocky Mountain Blue Grass in Walland, and shop in PF and Gatlinburg. Hosts are most gracious and accommodating with our schedule and requests.

A View To Be Thankful For

This was our second stay in the Precious Memories cabin & it did not disappoint. The view is simply inspiring!! The fall colors were truly a wondrous sight to behold & an excellent reminder of our Creator. The cabin itself is very spacious & clean. The kitchen has everything you’ll need if you want to cook, the only thing I brought from home was my Crockpot. Our favorite part is the location, not only are the views amazing but we feel it’s perfectly located on Wears Valley Rd between Townsend & Pigeon Forge. Just a Note…

When we started renting cabins we had no rental agreement. As time passed and things happened the rental agreement got started and continues to grow. We make every effort to keep things as simple as possible. Unfortunately, some things need to be spelled out and so the rental agreement is necessary. There is no substitute for common sense. So even if something is not detailed here, if you have doubts, please give us a call. Thanks for understanding.

** Rental Agreements are subject to being updated at any time.**
