Cool Off Tubing down the little river in Townsend! An excellent and affordable way to spend a hot summers day in the mountains!

Visit Cades Cove historic mountain valley. See authentic Smoky Mountain cabins, barns and community! This is by far the best place to view wildlife in their natural habitat! Black bears, deer and an assortment of wildlife freely roam the cove and are readily available for viewing!

Use the Wears Valley entrance to the National Park off Lyons Springs road, just a few minutes from the cabin! You will find miles of hiking trails, biking trails and horse back trails through out the park! By car you can tour the Roaring Fork Motor Tour, see the highest point in Tennessee at Clingmans Dome or sneak down to Gatlinburg and check out Ripleys Aquarium!

There are truly an endless number of things just a short distance from the cabin that you can find to do!
