12th Annual Smoky Mt Trout Tournament

April 2-3 - Rocky Top Outfitter is once again having it's annual trout tournament. Locals and Tourists have an equal chance at this 2 day event. There are a number of categories you can enter in this, the largest of the area's fishing tournaments! Local and State regulations are observed. 3rd Annual Gatlinburg Gateway Triathlon

April 9th - This event starts at the Community Center at 8:15 a.m., is open to anyone 15 years and older capable of swimming one-half mile, biking 20k, and running 5k consecutively. Awards will be given in multiple age categories (men's and women's division), plus a mixed team relay event. Pre-register is required. Call: 865-436-4990

Grand Spring Rod Run

April 14 - 17th - Hosted by the Grand Hotels Convention Center, this event take over the entire Smoky Mountains area! For car enthusiasts this is a must event! Hot Rods of every make and year take over the streets. For event info call: 1-800-251-4444

Mountain Man Memorial March

April 16th - The 4th annual Mountain Man Memorial March will be held in Gatlinburg. The 26 mile march through the mountains is a non-profit event that is held to honor our men and women who serve in uniform. To make a donation or find out more information,

Music of the Mountains

April 16th - The Smoky Mountains National Park is having it's annual concert event headlined by the "Jimbo Whaley and Friends Concert" at 7 p.m. at W.L. Mills Conference Center. This year's one-day event begins at Sugarlands Visitor Center with free, limited-seating performances by a series of six prominent musical acts from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

9th Annual Ribfest & Wings Street Festival!

April 28th - Gatlinburg turns into a street festival of Ribs, Wings, Entertainment and contests until the food runs out! There is one admission fee that is good until the food runs out! 5 - 8pm. Ribs are judged by a panel of judges and there is also a "people choice award"!
