Open from March 15th - November 15th
Everyday from 10 am until 5 pm.

Smoky Mountains National Park Caves
There are a number of caves, caverns and sinks inside the Smoky Mountains National Park. All of them have been closed and are off limits. Aside from the fact that they are not suitable for the average person to climb into and survive, but there is also a disease that is threatening to wipe out the bats that hibernate in these caves over winter upsetting the eco system.

This cave is near our cabins is blocked off and not accessible at anytime!
This is a dangereous cave that has seen folks in the past
lose their way and have to be rescued. It is reported that the cave goes back
into the mountains more than a mile!
Cabin closest to the cave entrance is Bear Cave Cabin!
